When the AI in your organization chats, or one of your agents, needs a person, it asks. It may want an approval before a change, an answer to a question, or a connection to an app. Tasks collects all of these in one place, together with the runs that are working now and what comes next.

The views

For you and Everything are split into groups:
  • Needs you (or Waiting on someone in Everything): approvals, questions and connections waiting for a person.
  • Running now: runs that are working right now.
  • Coming up: reminders the AI set for itself and the next routine runs, in time order.

Answer a task

1

Open Tasks

Click Tasks in the sidebar. For you opens first.
2

Pick a task

Click a task to open its chat next to the list. Click Open in full page to work in the chat itself.
3

Decide

For an approval, click Yes or No. For questions, pick or type your answers. For a missing connection, connect the app. The chat continues right away.
You can also just reply in the chat. A typed reply answers the question too. Filter by agent or by status, and search in Responses and Runs. Each run shows what started it: Scheduled, Autopilot, Webhook, Event or Manual.

Reminders

In Coming up, a Reminder is something the AI scheduled for itself in a chat. Click Cancel reminder if you don’t need it anymore.

Email alerts

If a task waits on you and you haven’t seen it, you get an email with what is being asked and an Open link. Several waiting chats come in one email. Turn this off with Needs you under Agents in your notification settings. The email only links to the task: you always decide in the app.

FAQ

Routine runs never wait for approvals, since nobody is there to answer. See Routines.
