Connect an AI app to Invent and work with your organizations from where you already chat. The app can read and change anything the Invent API offers, as you, inside the limits you choose. Invent speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Every app uses the same address:

Add a custom connector or MCP server with the address above. The app opens an Invent page where you sign in and choose what it can do.

Choose what it can do

The sign-in page lists your organizations. For each one, pick what the app can do: The app never gets more than your own role allows. If you can’t edit tables in an organization, the app can’t either, even with Write. A few well-known apps, like Claude, show a verified mark and their domain on the sign-in page. Any other app shows where it returns after you decide: allow it only if you started the connection yourself.

Manage connected apps

Go to Account → Connected apps to see every connected app, the organizations it can use and when it was last used.
  • Edit access changes the organizations and the access. The app follows the change on its next request.
  • Disconnect ends the connection right away. Nothing the app created is deleted.
  • A connection that goes unused for 90 days ends on its own. If your organization limits sign-in sessions with SSO, the connection ends with your session.
Changes made by a connected app show Connected app as their source in the audit log.
